Well, summer classes have come and gone, final projects are completed (or something). I’m not exactly drowning in free time but that’s a good thing.

Every good finals week needs a good arsenal.

Here’s the Floating City final from a few weeks ago. This is basically where I abandoned it. It still needs more work but sometimes you just have to take a step back and not look at a piece for a while.

It took me a while to decide whether or not I was going to post this to the blog just because, I’m not 100% sure it’s worth all the suspense and attention. But considering it is such a collaboration of reference materials, it FEELS big, so I’m going to post a little snippet. Accept this blurry and desperately unfinished sneak peek and I’ll love you forever.

Ahh…finals week. That glorious time when the caffeine floweth like honey. Let’s see, will I make all my assignments this year? We were supposed to invest 80 hours worth of work into two final projects, plus the sketchbook I put off until now…gallery critique…carry the two, plus nine…due on Wednesday…subtract 4…

Hh.
