Fail.

I hate it when I haven’t blogged in so long that WordPress logs me out of my account. That’s very passive aggressive of you, WORDPRESS.

But it is true. I haven’t blogged in a while and here’s why: Failure. I have made it my personal goal to master watercolor and while that’s all well and good, commendable even, it has kept me from actually producing anything worthwhile for the bloggity.

I could post my harrowing attempts but my self esteem just wouldn’t be able to take it. Also, when I got up the courage to actually post a painting from my class a couple weeks ago my mom looked at me, then the painting, then back at me with a look of “I’m not going to say a word, not a single word” at which point I thought better of my decision.

So in lieu of me posting my own work, please go and check out Mark McDonnell’s blog here. Please. He works in (what I can gather) a wide range of animation areas. I can only read 3-4 posts at a time because they are SO PACKED with great information. I have to have time to process it all. And since we have been talking about watercolor, here‘s a great abstract figure he posted a little while ago.
